Red Carpet | Academy Awards
Movie awards show season has come to a close with the Oscars summing it all up last night. Ellen was a hilarious host and movie stars were eating pizza, off paper plates, in their beautiful outfits and their bodyguard-worthy jewelry. What?! Also, a Twitter world retweet record was broken with this selfie...well deserved, for sure...then Twitter broke because of that Tweet.
Oh, and some awards were given to movies I haven't seen yet. I'll catch up this Summer, I think. Anyway, almost as equally important as the Oscars themselves is the Red Carpet right before. Here are some of my favorite styles, taken from People.

Do you all remember the 2011 Oscars when this little-known actress named "Jennifer" was an absolute knockout in her red Calvin Klein number? I sure do! That's the day I fell in love with her! She was definitely channeling that same look last night, with a grown-up twist, of course. She looked very old-Hollywood and I loved her throwback inspiration to her first-nomination days. Plus, she fell down on the red carpet, which only makes me love her even more. Girl crush for life.
