PHONE SNAPS
With an extra day off from work, I drove down to spend some time visiting my Gran last weekend. We spent the three days watching some Lumberjack basketball, browsing old photographs, making a trip to Dairy Queen and, unfortunately, watching our Dallas Cowboys end their season. It was such a fun time. I need to do that more often.

GQ interviewed White House Official Photographer, Pete Souza. He has been there for every moment of Barack Obama's presidency and beyond. I've always admired his ability to tell such dramatic and important stories with his still images. This photograph, in particular, is probably my favorite of these last eight years. "I want to know if my hair is just like yours," that sweet boy said. And it was. And I get chills when I think about my future kids growing up in an America where all they know is that becoming president is possible for someone that has their skin color and their hair. That is so important.
DIY | How To Clean Your Cutting Mat
CLEAN MATS
This is one of those "secrets" that the Cricut community has been sharing with one another for quite a while. I finally tried it out and it totally works! A little Totally Awesome spray (Dollar Tree), scraper and something to wipe it off...Boom. Brand new mat. I followed this video, but also gave it some heat from a blow dryer when I was done.
