Night at Vitruvian Lights

After Christmas, I always feel like a Grinch...but in the Buddy-the-Elfiest way possible. Like, I know it's over and done with and we're supposed to be excited about starting a new year, but I long for Christmas lights and the jolly cheerfulness of everyone. I guess I just kind of get bummed that it's January! I'm a January Grinch.

Luckily, to fill my Christmas void, Vitruvian Park had their beautiful light display up until January 1. My cousins came to Dallas to have a sleepover that night, so I knew we had to see the lights on their very last illuminated night. It was cold, but I'm so glad we ventured out!

The park looks fairly dark beyond the covered trees, but they have these great spotlights near the sidewalks that are perfect for photos. I never used a flash, so that shows you how great these spotlights are. I really want to take a Christmas card photo here someday. It's just too perfect not to! Also, how cute are my cousins?

I'll try to get over my Grinchiness soon!
